Predictions in Ungauged Basins (PUB)

(Jan. 2006 updated)

Predictions in Ungauged Basins (PUB) is the most recent initiative of the IAHS, a celebrated policy-relevant science initiative that arose out of free discussion by IAHS members on the World-Wide Web and during a series of IAHS sponsored meetings at Maastricht, Kofu and Brasilia, based on the recognition of current needs of the world, especially of developing countries, and a scientific readiness to make a new commitment.

The IAHS Decade on Predictions in Ungauged Basins (PUB) is aimed at formulating and implementing appropriate science programmes to engage and energise the scientific community, in a coordinated manner, towards achieving major advances in the capacity to make predictions in ungauged basins.

The PUB Research Database has been jointly developed by the Public Works Research Institute of Japan and the Royal Irrigation Department of Thailand for public use. The data is for anyone to use freely for any research purposes. A hard copy of the data (PWRI Memorandum No.4003) is also available. Data users are asked but not required, to quote "PWRI Memorandum No.4003" in their research papers and to notify the contact person of the paper titles.

For requestinga hard copy of the data or reporting a paper title.
