The economy of Pakistan is agriculture based which totally depends on storage, regulation and management of available water resources. Since its development, the water resources of Pakistan have not been given due attention up till now and due to lack of expertise in this sector, floods and drought hit with un-predicted pattern on a consistent basis. The management of water resources is the most important issue in water sector today which needs to be addressed with application of modern knowledge and advanced technology. Moreover, the disaster causes devastating losses to human lives and livelihoods and result in the significant fall of economic development turning out to be the biggest hurdle in the sustainable development. For the sustainable development flood early warning through better prediction tools and on time management should be carried out by disaster risk reduction approach which has never been studied in connection to socio-economic impacts in Pakistan.

(i) Distributed Hydrological Modeling Framework with snow and glacier melt for predictions and management for Improved Socio-Economic conditions against disaster risks.
(ii) Quantitative and Spatial Bias Correction for Rainfall, Snowfall, and Mixed‐Phase Precipitation by integrating insitu and remotely sensed data with Water Energy Based-Distributed Hydrological Model
(iii) Establishing coloration between water sector and economic sector
