- I joined ICHARM from Jul. 2010. I have studied development mechanisms of precipitation systems over tropical ocean using Doppler radars and numerical models. In ICHARM, I will reveal developing mechanism of rapid developing severe rainfalls and contribute in developing fast forecast models for the severe rainfalls using MP radars.
2010年7月からICHARM水文チームに専門研究員として参加しました。これまで、主に熱帯海洋上の雨雲の発達過程を調べるために、気象レーダや数値モデルを使って研究を行ってきました。ICHARMでは、MPレーダなどを用いて突発性豪雨の発生・発達過程を明らかにし、突発性豪雨の短時間予測モデルを開発します。
